Itinerary – Manang Tour
Kathmandu to Besisahar
First day of the Manang tour getting to Besisahar. The distance of Kathmandu and Besisahar is 180 Km and it requires 5-6 hours’ drive. We also arrange private jeep/car to Besisahar from Kathmandu which is far comfortable than local transport. The drive offers breathtaking Mountain View on a far distance also provides close sights of lush and green countryside. Also, get a glimpse of white water rafting on the Trishuli River.

Besisahar to Manang
We drive towards Manang valley through the terraced rice, waterfall, gorge, and villages to Dharapani. A drive passes lush green rice plantation till Syange village and enjoys the stunning view of the water.
Our drive continues towards the Marshyandi gorge and passes beautiful villages as well as see two waterfalls at Chyamje. Often see the native are hunting wild honey east banks of Marshyandi River. If the time permitted side trips to Tilche and cross a suspension bridge over the glacier melted river. The budget to luxurious accommodation is in the option at Dharapani village. In the evening meet with like-minded people who come down after crossing high altitude Larkya la.
We continue our Manang Jeep tour through the villages, pristine forest, and along the Marshyandi River. The drive passes a thrilling waterfall near to Timang village also enjoys with breathtaking sights of Mount Manaslu. Our drive passes commercial Chame and the large apple farm also visiting natural hot spring and continues with views of sloppy rock called Paungda Danda east side of Pisang Peak. We then passes Pisang and Humde airport then uphill drive to Ngawal Village. The Ngawal village rewards a great mountain panorama of the Annapurna range.

Explore Manang Valley
Today exploring Manang valley is filled up with villages, Glacier Lake, and Buddhist religious sites. The snow-clad peaks surround the bowl shaped valley. A few side trips can organize like visit Braka Gompa, Manang village and Gangapurna Glacier Lake by drive. Then Ice Lake, Milarepa cave and Chonkor/Chongkor viewpoint by walking. The Gangapurna glacier lake and Chongker viewpoint provides magnificent and close view of the glacier.

Manang to Jagat
In the morning, enjoy the beautiful sunrise and snow mountains . We drive down from Manang to Jagat, along beautiful Marshyangdi River , melting glacier of Tilicho lake + Annapurna Range . Overnight at Lodges .
Besisahar to Kathmandu
Our journey continues downwards to Besisahar, it is 6-7 hours’ drive along the bank of Marshyandi River. Since it is a private trip, the jeep can stop anywhere to capture the natural beauty of the impressive landscapes.
Delicious Lunch on the way while driving to Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be dropped off at your hotel. Your Manang Tour Ends here.
