Nepal Tour Itinerary

Day 1 :
Arrival Transfer

You will arrive in Kathmandu airport. Upon arrival meet your airport officer who will be holding play-card (sign board) with your name outside Arrival Hall at International airport and then transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day will be free on own to stroll around local area.
Overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu

Day 2 :
Full-day sightseeing tour & Drive Nagarkot – 38 Kms

Your sightseeing tours begin after breakfast. Your guide will come at your hotel and meet you at hotel lobby at 0930 am. You will then proceed with sightseeing tour of Pashupatinath temple located on the bank of Bagmati River. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and often known as “abode of Shiva”. Only Hindus are permitted to enter inside the temple complex for worship however other can go other side of temple to see the rituals of Hindu people and morning activities. You will also witness rare ceremony of funerals as per Hindu traditions at cremation ghats on the bank of holy river Bagmati.

After visit at Pashupatinath temple, you will then proceed to Boudhnath stupa located 3 Kilometers away from the temple. Boudhnath stupa is also known as “Mini Tibet” and one of the largest Buddhist stupa in Nepal. This stupa is surrounded by Tibetan settlements and monasteries. You will witness Buddhist rituals and traditions at Boudhnath area which is en-circle by Buddhist prayer flags and mane.

Afternoon, you will drive 14 Kilometer east to Kathmandu to visit the best preserved ancient city of Bhaktapur. Bhaktapur is also called as cultural hub of Newari people. Many of the highly decorated buildings and shrines were destroyed in the 1934 & 2015 earthquake. However, the main square still contains a few temples and other architectural show pieces; the Lion Gate, the statue of Bhupatindra Malla, the Palace of 55 windows, the Bell of the barking dogs, the Nyatapola temple and the replica of Pashupatinath temple. In Bhaktapur you will observe the Newari people with traditional and daily work. Narrow lanes of Bhaktapur offer bargain price for the Thankas “Oil painting on Silk” which you can buy if interested.

Your guide will see off you at Bhaktapur and you will continue your drive to Nagarkot hill station with your driver. Nagarkot is located 38 Kilometers from Kathmandu. Nagarkot is popular for incredible sunrise and sunset view over Himalayas. You can see 8 out of 13 Himalayan ranges in Nepal from this place located at altitude of 2100 meters. You have free time to stroll around place or can relax at hotel with splendid view of sunset. If weather is very clear then you can also see Mount Everest – the highest peak in the world.

Day 3 :
Drive to Chitwan (205 Kms/8 Hrs). Jungle activities

Morning at 07:00 am, your driver will pick you for drive to Chitwan along scenic mountain highway. Chitwan is one of the finest national park in Asia and also famous for viewing wildlife such as One Horn Rhino, Tiger, Deer and other wild flora and fauna on its natural habitat. Upon arrival you will be welcomed by naturalist from your lodge. You will enjoy Lunch at dinning complex and then followed by the activities briefing.

Today you will enjoy Jungle walk inside forest escorted by local naturalist from lodge. You will continue with the visit to Tharu villages located on the edge of the park area. Tharu people are indigenous people from plain region of Nepal and have their own lifestyle and culture. In the evening you will enjoy Tharu Stick Dance.

Day 4 :
Full-day Jungle Activities

Morning enjoy Canoe ride at Rapti river to see water birds and Crocodile. After Canoe ride, you will enjoy Elephant briefing and also breeding center.

In the afternoon, you will enjoy Jeep safari to see wildlife of Nepal. Today highlight will be spotting one horn Rhino in dense forest. If you are lucky then you can also see Tiger. After safari you will be back at hotel.

Day 5 :
Drive to Pokhara (5 Hrs) & then Pokhara tour

Morning drive to Pokhara. Pokhara is famous for wonderful views of Himalayas and also for its snow fed lakes. The reflection of Mt. Fishtail & Annapurna range on Lake Phewa is breathtaking. Pokhara is also base camp for the trekking on Annapurna region with other day hike tours around valley rim.

Afternoon, commence on a Pokhara city tour which includes Bindavashini temple, Seti Gorge, Devis fall & Gupteshwor Mahadev cave.

Day 6 :
Sarangkot Sunrise Tour & then Peace stupa Hike

Early morning, excursion to Sarangkot to see sunrise over Mt. Annapurna, Dhaulagiri massif & Mt. Fishtail. Return to hotel for breakfast.

Later in early afternoon, meet your guide and proceed to Lakeside area. Cross Phewa Lake by boat. Reach another side of the lake and start your walk to Peace Stupa. Peace stupa is also known as White Pagoda located on the hill top of the Pokhara valley rim. The views from this stupa includes combine view of Pokhara valley floor with Phewa lake and beautiful view of Himalayan ranges such as Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and Fishtail dominating skyline.

This 3.5 hours total hike both walk walking provide best experience walking in Himalayan at Annapurna foothills. Walk down, cross lake and walk to your hotel.

Day 7 :
Drive to Kathmandu – 200 Kms/6 Hrs

Drive to Kathmandu. Transfer to your hotel. Free day on own.

Day 8 :
Patan sightseeing tour & then Departure Transfer

Morning enjoy visit to Patan which is known as “City of Beauty” and visit to Patan Durbar Square offer excellent opportunity to see local Newari people, ancient Royal complexes and architecture of medieval era. Stroll narrow lanes of Patan visiting Patan Durbar Square, Krishna temple, Mahaboudhi stupa and Golden temple. Patan is also famous for metal works and wood carvings.

Transfer to Kathmandu airport in time to board your flight back home.
