📌 IMPORTANT TRAVEL NOTE
Muktinath is at approximately 3,710 metres, and weather and road conditions in Mustang can change quickly. The final departure, route and vehicle movement should be confirmed according to current road and weather conditions.
For a standard Muktinath/Lower Mustang itinerary, the Upper Mustang Restricted Area Permit is not required; that permit applies to restricted Upper Mustang areas beyond the relevant checkpoints. Permit fees should be reconfirmed at the time of booking because government/authority charges can change.
